A "no makeup" day?

Some weeks are simply exhausting weeks. We cram so much into our schedules that we hardly have time to relax. After a few weeks or a few months it can catch up to us.

This last week it happened to me. I hit a wall...got sick and could barely move off of my couch. Nothing...no energy for anything, no emails, no appetite and no putting on my makeup. Finally I surrendered and dragged myself late afternoon on Tuesday for a doctor's appointment. Thankfully I did and finally Thursday I started getting my energy back.

I know the secret to keeping a healthy lifestyle is balance. I don't know about you, but I find it so hard in practice. Especially with our fast-paced lifestyles. The other day while lying on my couch I was thinking of this idea of scheduling time for boredom...where we do absolutely nothing for a set period of time. But then I realized that was kind of like meditation (but with my eyes open).
